Marski by Scandic

Everything was great, very friendly staff, clean, quiet room facing the inner courtyard. Nice bathroom. There is a very large fitness area and two saunas with long opening hours, separated for men and women. On the days I was there there were usually no other guests there. The breakfast was also very good. There were even gluten-free options and a wide range of healthy foods. The location is very good, you can reach shops and attractions quickly. I really enjoyed it and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a very pleasant stay at Marski Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Special thanks to Princess, who assisted me upon arrival and made me feel welcome right away. The breakfast was fantastic — plentiful, fresh, and a great start to the day. The location is excellent, making it very easy to explore Helsinki.

The location is absolutely excellent, the most perfect location in the city, close to everything. The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, and they had a nice outside bar open on the weekend with a DJ.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It takes 5-10 min walk on even but cobbled path. It looks further on Google than it is. The harbour is also a short 10-15 min walk. The hotel is almost opposite a shopping mall and there are many small streets with restaurants and cafes. The breakfast at this hotel is extensive. You can have eggs cooked your way, waffles, fruit, cereals and yoghurt plus European style continental breakfast with lovely breads and cheeses and cold cuts. You can also make your own juice. It is one of the best I have seen outside of Asia. The room was a good size. We had the std king and it was in the old part of the hotel so at the back of the main hotel. Whilst we only got a view of car park it did not matter the room was good size and was renovated and the bed was the most comfortable we had had on our trip. The bathroom and shower were lovely. I would really recommend staying at this hotel.

Location is great! Close to many Helsinki attractions. It's on a main street but we stayed in the other wing that has a facade on the side street. Breakfast is busy but a great spread, would have liked more salmon, personally. The hotel seems modern but the other wing feels outdated. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful if you had a specific question, but were mainly new "learning" staff that didn't provide general information on services or amenities of the hotel upon check-in.
